Maui Horse Whisperer Experience tmThe Maui Horse Whisperer Experience is a full or half-day adventure of playing, dancing, and interacting with one of nature's most exquisite and revered species, Equus, the horse. Participants get to talk, walk, whisper, ride (optional), and join with horses in one of the most wonderful days they could ever have, anywhere in the world. Guests get to learn the secret techniques of the horse tamers, and try their hand, one-on-one, with their own horse. This is an exciting and exhilarating activity/attraction that exists beyond the normal definitions of a lovely vacation activity. Our goal is to improve and enhance the lives of all those who join us and that they have great fun doing it. The program is led either by one of its co-founders, Franklin Levinson, an outstanding facilitator, horseman, riding instructor and trainer or his equally qualified associate, Ms. Jill Fairchild. Half and full-day Horse Whisperer Programs are presented every week. Space is limited so please reserve early. The full day program is from 9 AM to 5 PM and includes morning refreshments and a hearty lunch. This seminar includes one-on-one exercises and games with the horse and optional coaching in centered/balanced riding that goes hand-in-hand with the sensitivity and skills brought forth in the seminar. The optional riding is from 4 PM -5 PM. The half-day program is from 12 PM - 5 PM and is $200.00 plus tax per person. Full day programs are $300.00 plus tax per person. The optional equestrian coaching/riding is available for an additional $50.00 per person. Private programs are also scheduled weekly with plenty of advance notice. Natural LeadershipNatural Leadership is an experiential, hands on program with its focus on leadership and team building. Participants get to experience and practice the techniques of effective communication, willing partnership, shared vision, skillful action, and thoughtful decision making. For a horse to accept you as its leader, one must earn its trust and respect, and do it quickly on the spot. Learning these new practices increases our power and dignity. Having a centered, grounded presence enhances our ability to move through our lives with intention and balance. This one, two or three day seminar offers its participants a new paradigm for high level leadership. A paradigm that is based on mutual trust and respect. Our excellence is increasingly defined by our ability to coordinate and cooperate with each other. Natural Leadership is on the cutting edge of leadership development and training.This specialized leadership/team building seminar is offered by advance reservation only. Kid's ProgramsWe offer non-riding programs for children 10 years and up, and programs with an optional ride for those 12 years and older. We also offer "kids and their parents" programs and programs for children with special needs. Our kid's programs are offered on an ongoing basis as well as by special advance reservation.Program Cost: Depends on group size and needs. Please inquire.
Private Instruction
Franklin Levinson is available on Maui for private instruction and consulting. Services include:
- Training horses through gentle training techniques (natural horsemanship)
- Stallion training (young and old) also using these techniques.
- 'Imprinting' foals
- Teaching the principles and techniques of these types of horse training to others
- Teaching problem solving (gentle and effective equine solutions)
- Starting young horses under saddle
- Offerring centered riding instruction (english or western)
- Teaching the teachniques and principles of equine facilitated learning programs for children
- Offering courses and appreticships on all subjects mentioned
- Finding special horses for specific owners to purchase.
